PROFILE

Mainsail Estates Limited is a Poole based Company, founded in 1996.

Through liaison with professional bodies in the UK, the Company has been able to successfully undertake and complete many residential projects, varying from 3 bedroom town houses in Ringwood to 5 bedroom Caribbean homes in the USA, from  2 bedroom apartments in Poole to 5 bedroom equestrian homes in the New Forest.

Stirling J Wilson - Director and General Manager

After entering the Construction Industry in 1977, Stirling became a Quantity Surveyor in 1981, working for a national building contractor.  He went on to become a Senior Quantity Surveyor in 1985.  After gaining further valuable experience working for regional and national contractors, he became a Contracts Manager in 1988.

In 1995, Stirling became a Senior Contracts Manager working for his fourth employer, a national contractor operating out of Bournemouth.  In all this time, he gained valuable experience in all types of projects ranging from blast-proof military buildings to high-tech Post Office Distribution Centres, from large housing developments to a Category C Prison.  The later peaking at 350 operatives with a multi-million pound final account value.

In 1998, Stirling joined Mainsail Estates Limited as a Project Manager.  Since then he has become, initially a joint Director and Shareholder, then becoming sole Director and Shareholder.  During this time he has undertaken various projects which are identified within the company's portfolio.
